Domaine Barat is located about a mile outside of the city of Chablis in the village of Milly. Winemakers Joelle & Michel Barat are descended from five generations of wine growers. The pair launched their own label in 1972, and in 2000, their children, Angele & Ludovic, joined them in running the family estate. The estate's vines are planted on south-facing slopes, on Kimmeridgian and Portlandian marl formed millions of years ago during the Jurassic era when the sea covered Chablis. The mineral-rich clay-limestone soil lends an intense and vivacious minerality and freshness to the wines.

Located in the Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet lies just to the north of Chassagne-Montrachet. Étienne de Montille of Volnay and his sister, Alix de Montille, purchased the estate in July 2012. The modern winery built in the 1980s has proved to be almost perfect for making wine in the minimalist, gravity flow method that both Étienne and Alix prefer. In addition, only indigenous yeasts are used and the wines are lightly fined with egg-whites and bottled unfiltered. The preference is to allow a longer barrel-aging period so that the wines will settle naturally.

In 1830 the Gros family set up in Vosne-Romanée. Today, Michel Gros, sixth generation of this dynasty of winemakers, continues and develops the work undertaken by his ancestors, as do his sister (Domaine AG Gros), his brother (Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur) and his cousin (Domaine Anne Gros). Côte de Nuits is the northern half of the Côte d'Or and includes the famous wine villages of Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-St-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée, Flagey-Echezeaux and Nuits-St-Georges.

Antoine Petitprez is committed to natural wine. He is part of a new generation in Burgundy, taking the best of tradition, soil and winemaking to tell a story of where the wines were made. Antoine develops mutually beneficial partnerships by consulting with organic farmers in exchange for their agreement to sell him grapes. The 'La Justice' vineyard is located on the northern side of the appellation due east of the RN74. The vineyard gained its name from the original proprietor, Lord of Gevrey, who had the right to render 'justice' over all of his holdings as an abbot.
